Found this gem of a garden by pure chance whilst on the Internet. It is a family run garden and a great credit to them. We found them so helpful and very informative. My wife and I went on a lovely sunny day, which always helps and was immediately impressed with the layout of the garden. Each garden has a different theme and planting conditions. My wife's favourite was the Slate Garden, it was like being at Butterfly World as this garden is planted with plants that attract all insects and butterflies. There are plenty of seats around the gardens so that you can sit and relax and enjoy the fabulous views. Its family friendly and arrangements have also been made to accommodate the less able and wheel chair users. At the end of your journey around this beautiful grden there is a well stocked plant nursery which are reasonably priced and a Coffee Shop which leads out on to a patio area in the Topiary garden. On a day like ours it was lovely to sit outside and again enjoy the views. Admission to the garden is very good. Adults £3.60, Child (5-15) £ 1.20. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit as there is something to see for everyone and would highly recommend a visit. We will definately be back in the Spring to see the bulbs. My top tips: Take a warm jacket if weather is windy as the garden is exposed and a hat is definately needed if sunny.
