We stumbled upon Morwick Dairy on our way back from Warkworth Castle and what a great find it was. Gorgeous home made ice cream in a lovely country setting...a perfect end to a lovely day out.
My top tips: Make sure you have got room to sample the many flavours

Just outside Warkworth, from the castle head towards Morwick Road which leads onto the A1. Approx 2 miles along this road is a fantastic Dairy Farm which produces its own ice cream. Far too many flavours to list with a small outside childrens play area to relax and enjoy their delights! Probably the 'best ice cream in the north east', in my opinion! Perfectly placed if touring the area as between the A1 and warkworth. Also has a small cafe for refreshments and home made snacks.
My top tips:  Very busy, popular with minibus trips etc, you may have to wait a short while.
