Whilst on hols in Bournemouth, we came across a lovely shop called Ollie's Closet. It's a secondhand shop selling children's top end high st to designer gear clothing. All of the clothing is in immaculate condition making it difficult to tell it's secondhand at all! They also sell wooden toys, baby gifts and organic toiletries-all at really reasonable prices. My wife was delighted to find out they are also online so I'm sure the shopping spree will be continuing now were back at home!

My top tips: * ask to be put on their wishlist if you are looking for something in particular. We now get informed when they have Ralph Lauren polos in Jack's age and they post it out if it's suitable.

* don't forget to look in the wooden toy section- they have got a big range of toys from pocket money items to huge train sets...which I've got my eye on!!
