was created by us, Sarah and Lee Sharp.
During a holiday in the UK in 2008, we looked for websites that told us about great places to go, eat, play and see with a child. There were lots of listings of places, but very few sites where people like us could share personal experiences and recommendations. That’s what we needed, and that’s how the seed of families recommend was planted.
We then got to thinking about the number of times:
- we’ve been somewhere and then told others about the great time we’ve had and they’ve gone too! Word of mouth really works!
- friends or relatives come to stay we can never think of new things to do, so end up doing the same thing time and again. New experiences make for a far more interesting life.
So shouldn’t there be a website where all families can share those experiences? And by families we don’t just mean new parents – it could be anyone from cousins, nephews, nieces and grandparents to best friends.
Every family is different, and we want our site to reflect this.
Overall, we want our family time to always be great. And we never want to be disappointed. If you are reading this, then you obviously feel the same too.
Our aim is to spread the word about great service, excellent facilities and fantastic experiences.
