Bill Quay farm is a community farm on the south banks of the tyne. It is free and there are a variety of lovely animals there. It's not like the other farms you visit that have loads of animals and play areas etc, but it's totally free and you can easily spend a good hour there. There is a lovely cafe for food, veg grown on the farm too! for more info Opening Hours: 9am - 5pm daily 7 days. Some areas have restricted access until 12noon. Admission is FREE

My top tips: Go after 12noon to have full access...and leave a donation in the entrance
