On a rare occassion my husband and I got a night out without the kids. We are both lovers of mexican food and have failed to find a decent restaurant in Newcastle -until now! Being a friday night, we chanced at getting a table, and we were lucky and got the last one in the restaurant available (at around 7.30pm). The place was heaving and had a real mix of people eating there (work parties / couples / families with older children / students). Everyone seemed to be having a great time, there was a definite buzz about the place! We started off with frozen margaritas which were lovely, and then a basic starter of potato skins (again lovely). I went for the Chicken Fajitas and my husband for the Burrito. The courses were served in good time and we never felt rushed. The waiter we had was very knowledgeable about the menu and when questioned about which main course my husband should choose, was able to provide some good advice on which dish he would probably like the best. We had a lovely evening out and will return again soon hopefully. They have a nice little bar which if you have to wait for a table then it would be a great place to sit and wait. The bar was stacked with every tequila known to man!
My top tips:  Book ahead at weekends, the place seems extremely popular!
