Ideal for children of all ages...and free. the only cost to consider is parking and the cheap but very nice coffee shop. Most children even toddlers can make it round the lake and feeding the swans can be real fun for them. There is a track round but may be muddy after heavy rainfall so dont wear designer trainers....Easily negotiated with a buggy though. Loos a bit basic so dont expect luxury nappy changing facilities but those of us used to changing kids in the back of a car won't be put off.

My top tips: Appropriate clothing and something to feed the swans!
