Our favourite Zoo - get there early and prepare yourself for 8hrs of fun! There are so many things to see and do at Chester Zoo, such as the Elephants of the Asian Forest – a new home for the Zoo’s elephants, including elephant calf, Raman, born in November 2006. Also, giraffe ‘Molly’, together with the Zoo’s many other recent arrivals, including five male baby Komodo Dragons. The 110-acre Zoo opens at 10am every day except Christmas Day and Boxing Day, when the Zoo is closed. Car parking is free.

My top tips: not great on a raining day food expensive (take a picnic if u can)
