Fab day out, went last week, took the three kids, 3, 7,10 went a few years ago and they seem to have added a lot to it since then. as well as all the farm animals and zoo animals, theres lots of play areas for all ages, my eldest boy 10 really liked the quad bikes, they cost £1, you seem to get loads of laps round the track though, he had being on electric ones before, but these were much better. There are adventure play areas, a giant tube crawl human hamster play area, that was brill, they were in there for a good 1/2 hour, so I had a cup of coffee. the giant corn maze with snake tunnels was fun, you wouldnt want to send anyone under 5 (or make that 35) in by themselves, even I got lost. for the whole family the tractor ride was the best we have being on, Sid the farmer was great, we all called the cows to the tractor. HUP HUP Girls. some of the rides could be better signed, the fairground waltzer ride in the barn, was easily missed, and had finished by the time we got there. a brill afordable day out, we paid £16 for the 4 of us on a family ticket, I think normally adults are £4.75 and children £5 and you don't feel like you are being fleeced when you get there.
My top tips:
worth at least 4 hours to get round everything, really the day to do it justice. try the lemon dizzle cake - lush
