You need a day for this venue, which may prove tiring (or even a little boring for young ones), but this is a fantastic historical site, with original POW buildings from the second world war. A very descriptive trail down memory lane with realistic recreations of how life would have been then. Quite an emotional experience if your into that sort of thing, with graphic detail of how our boys (and girls) fought and died for us. A must for all to appreciate the sacrifices made, which serves as a reminder, what our boys are continuing to do for us, home and abroad.

My top tips: Take a picnic, take your time though each area and enjoy. Avoid public holidays as very busy. Limited refreshments which are expensive, so go prepared. A lot of outdoor walking aswell as under cover, so take a rain coat !!
