The Filling Station is as you might expect a restaurant, located on the Royal Mile in Edinburgh. The place is a great spot to stop for some good food. It has a kind of American theme to it, with petrol (or should I say gas) pumps and road signs on the walls. It is quite a large place so we have never had any problems getting a table and the service has always been spot on.

My top tips: Great place to stop for some food and a pint of Tennants before walking up to the Castle.
