Lovely relaxing coffee shop, with the most fantastic Spice Chai....I have since bought my own to have at home....delicious!! With views of the millennium bridge what more can you ask for! They also have a snug room downstairs if you fancy a meet up with lots of mum's and let the kiddies run free!!
My top tips:
Try the Spice Chai

I was walking past the Great Coffee shop in Gosforth at the weekend and remembered reading a good review about it on this site. As I was on my way home, I decided to take my coffee to go. I thought the staff were lovely and friendly, quick at serving and the coffee was very nice. I thought the prices were extremely reasonable and as far as I can remember they were cheaper than their competitors that are located just down the street. The whole place is kitted out well and even on a saturday, a customer who was having her coffee indoors was invited to sit down and not wait at the counter like other chain coffee shops. I'll definately be back when I am next in the area.
My top tips:
I tried a sample of chocolate cake while I waited for my coffee and it was delicious!

A lovely inviting place to grab a hot drink and slice of cake. Nicely decorated, lots of different seating spaces, friendly staff and a child friendly place to be.
My top tips:
You can't go here and not try the delicious cakes!
