We had a great day, my grand-daughter absolutely loved it. She fed the goats, sheep, cows and fish. We went on a horse drawn cart ride and saw how a cow gets milked. To end the day we had a homemade dairy ice-cream, yummie. Very reasonably priced can't weait to go again with the other grand-children.
My top tips:
Make sure you have wipes as the children get very grubby playing in and out of the adventure tunnels.

This is a great farm for all of the family. There are loads of activities to do eg; shire horse and cart rides, jersey cow milking, feeding the fish in the pond, feeding the donkeys, having a picnic, sampling the local ice-cream and many more! It's excellent value for money as you can take a picnic or have one of the tasty snacks in the cafe (all homemade produce). They make real dairy ice-cream from their Jersey cows (called Primrose and Buttercup) and you can buy it to eat there or take a tub home! Inside the big barn there are animals to feed like goats, rabbits, cows etc and the best thing is a huge stack of hay bales for the kids to jump into, on and around - they really love it. There's plenty of parking and level access for people with limited mobility. After feeding the animals, there's huge sinks and soap to wash hands in. Various demonstrations on milking etc take place by the farmer. A good circular walk takes you around the farm and you can view the animals and their babies, feeding them as you go along. Kids love it!
My top tips:
Open from Easter onwards - the ice-cream is delicious! Lovely picnic area so you can take your own food and snacks and then go back to see the animals again
