On Aug bank holiday Monday we decided to brave the crowds at Lightwater Valley in Ripon. We took our 2 children aged 14 months and 3 years along with their cousins aged 2 and 6 and their mum & dad! We had a fantastic day, the 3 youngest got in for free and there were loads of rides they could go on. The adults then took it in turns to go on the bigger rides, there was always a smaller ride close by for the younger ones to keep them entertained. The food was really good too.....not at all what I was expecting from a theme park, although we did eat outside on the grass rather than in the tent!! We had the best family day out of the school holidays!!
My top tips: Look for vouchers in school magazines for £11.95 entry and kids under 1m are free! Go on the waltzer...and buy the photo, I regret not doing this it was hilarious!! Catch the train and swan's early as the queue's get too big later on!
