Little Signers provide small baby signing classes in my area. The teacher is very friendy with lots of knowledge about how to develop communication between parent and baby. My son is now 2 and his speech is incredible. Little Signers gave me the chance to understand him better.
My top tips: Give your baby time to respond. Make time yourself to listen. Increase eye contact which signing does.

I took my 8 month grandson to this lovely baby signing class in Shipston. Emi was an amazing teacher - the way she engaged Alfie was amazing. I was a little bit sceptic before the class - but all the babies were entranced by the music and nursery rhymes. The signs were really easy to remember because Emi illustrated them so well! Alfie signs for food, milk and more. In such a short time he started signing, I told everyone about it and they all understand him now too.
My top tips: Go to a class - it's not worth just thinking about it and wondering if it is going to work!

Little Signers has made my life so much easier. Having a set of signs to use is a god send. Harry's language is always growing and I think baby signing has given him loads of confidence to try new words. The teacher was so good at making the class fun for them and the Mum's all enjoyed themselves. I felt akward singing at first but actually after a few minutes Emi made me feel ok about it. She was really nice and has a lovely way with the children.
My top tips:  Learn the signs and then use them with everyone. Book a space - it was such good value

Fantastic classes to teach your baby to communicated from 6months of age through Sign Language. The \'signs\' are taken from BSL (British Sign Language) to ensure no miss understandings for people who may already use signing as a way of communication. The classes are friendly and run in a way everyone feels at ease. I love it and my son is now signing some of the basics so makes my life easier knowing what it is he wants....I just wish I had known about it sooner so I could have done it with my first son!!
My top tips: Book early to avoid dissapointment as spaces book quickly!

Both my husband and I took our little boy along for both the beginners and advanced baby signing sessions run by Little Signers Club. The sessions were really engaging, and the time flew by. The work we put in is paying dividends now as we approach terrible twos and he's able to explain what he wants and needs rather than just get wound up and frustrated. His language skills are really coming on too, and he seems more than happy and confident to try saying new words everyday - knowing he can back them up with signs. Favourites are food and plane :)
My top tips:  Definitely one for daddies to try too if they can get along.

I went to these classes with my 4 month old son and learnt basic baby signing which helped us communicate before he could speak. The classes are fun and interesting for both children and adults, with songs, stories and actions. Highly recommended to any parent/carer!

Baaby singning is a baby/toddler group meeting weekly, teaching your child to make simple signs in order to comunicate. Great fun, lovely atmosphere and the babies love it. It was the best thing I ever did with my daughter who was signing the milk sign at about 51/2 months old! I never knew that she needed to an extra feed an hour after her 12 o'clock one. I just thought that she was over tired and grumpy at that time of the day, every day!!
My top tips:  Try it, it works. I certainly makes life easier for the child and the parents. Can you imagine how frustrating it must be have a finger that hurt's or your hungry and you can't tell anyone. Comunication stops the crying.

Excellent baby signing courses, relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Baby signing really helped me bond with my little one and eased the frustration of not knowing what he wanted/needed because we could communicate. He is nearly three now and his speech is well above average for his age and I have been lucky enough not to have to suffer too many toddler tantrums because if in doubt he will revert back to signing! I would urge anyone to try it!!!
My top tips: start young and practice!
