We stayed at Lock Ness Lodge for our honeymoon back in February. It is a truly wonderful and intimate hotel with only 8 rooms, all exquisitely furnished with its own theme and pastel colours. We stayed in the Affric room which included a beautiful turret window overlooking Loch Ness. As it was winter we enjoyed amazing views and could see the snow storms rolling up the Loch as we sat enjoying the complimentary sherry they provided in our room. The food is also amazing and the service second to none. Scott and his team were amazing looking after us, even providing us complimentary food and wine when we arrived after our epic 13 hour journey from Newcastle through the heavy snow.

My top tips: We also arranged a massage while we were there for pure indulgence - I had the hot stone massage and my husband the Swedish massage - both were amazing and followed by a relaxing sauna. I cannot rave about this place enough - it purely is an exclusive-use retreat and deserves 5 stars!
