I have tried a number of different baby groups and classes with both my eldest and youngest sons and I have to say that Music Bugs with Heather is by far the best. I only wish it had been around when I had my first son. Each week we run through a different repetoire of songs accompanied by our children playing the vast array of instruments, dancing, playing with puppets and props. The everlasting bubbles are a big hit! I love the fact that I can sing along with most of the songs (after being reminded they exist from my childhood) Children (and mammies) really warm to Heather as she makes us all feel comfortable in the class. I took my son when he was 5 months old and he is now nearly 1 year old and at the stage where he is really joining in with the proceedings. I have loved every minute of sharing this class with him and seeing how this has developed. We are now looking forward to his Music Bugs First Birthday party.
My top tips: Email or telephone Heather in advance as classes are popular and may get booked up. Check out the website for details. A free taster session may be offered. Book a Music Bugs party as they are great value for money entertainment for you child and their party guests.

A lively and fun interactive music class for little ones. I've been taking my little boy for just over 8 months now and he absolutely loves it (and so do I!). Heather the class leader is fab with the little ones and uses some great props - bubbles, hobby horses, scarves, puppets and our favourite the parachute, as well as a great selection of musical instruments for the children to play with. My little boy gets so excited when we go to the class and can't wait to get out of his pram to go and join in. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a music group to take their little ones to.
My top tips: Check out the website www.musicbugs.co.uk for more info about classes. They also do parties so if you're looking for something a little bit different for your child's birthday party I'd definitely recommend it.

I have been taking my little girl to Heather's Music Bugs class for over 2 years now and she still loves it. The classes are full of fun and a great opportunity to learn new songs to sing at home, remember old ones you have forgotton from your own childhood and most importantly bond and have fun with your child. The class is full of instruments for the children to have fun with, and loads of different puppets, scarves, hobby horses, parachutes, bubbles and my personal favourite, pom poms! The class size is just right too - not so big that it is impersonal and manic, but not too small so you don't feel self consious about singing along too! It's wonderful to watch your child week by week become more confident in the class as they start to interact with Heather and the other children and when they start to recognise the songs each week and sing along. Or when they hear the first notes of the bubbles music and get excited as they know what's coming next! Music Bugs is such a fun, happy class, Heather is great with the children and I can't recommend it enough.
