A great place for a get away weekend. A nice pub with a welcoming atmosphere, and good food . A quiet village with nice walks or the moors for the more adventurous. A shot drive will take you into the heart of the lake district.

My top tips: Keswick is a must visit, about 15 mile if you are in a hurry. Driving along the B5305 is slightly longer but worth it for the scenery
