Pushy Mothers is an outdoor postnatal exercise class. It involves gentle exercise for new mums who push their little ones in their buggies while they're at it. Debbie, a mum herself, is an enthusiastic instructor who's always cheerful and encouraging. She even lends an ear if you want to have a moan about how many times you were up last night!
My top tips:
Give Debbie a call to find out about a class near you. She's really friendly. Get yourself to a class - you'll feel better for the exercise, your baby will sleep through it and, if you're lucky like I was, you'll make best friends with the other mums in the class.

Pushy mothers is an exercise class for mums where you workout in local parks and take baby along in their buggy. It's great for socialising with other mums (and carers) and getting a good workout at the same time. Toddlers are welcome too and some mums even take double buggies along for extra hard work. There are various classes around Newcastle run by Debbie Donaldson who is very experienced in post natal exercise and she's great with her advice on 'taking things slowly' after having a baby. There's no pressure to bounce back into shape and she makes you feel comfortable about exercising again.
My top tips:
Go along to a class and see if you like it. If you do, you can sign up as a member and book in (and pay) for regular classes that you like
