This is an absolutely fabulous day. Real Alice in Wonderland type adventure for both children and adults. If you fancy a day out with a difference you will love the Forbidden Corner.

My top tips: You should book in advance and though you can do this online I got a better time when I telephoned. Also there is a cafe but quite expensive but lots of lovely grounds recommend you take a picnic.

This is near Leyburn in North Yorkshire and is fab - puzzles to solve by running around countryside and strange buildings :)

My top tips: book in advance - leyburn or middleham most of it is outside - so need good weather - not open over winter some parts are bit scary for very young children
