Warwick Castle is the best castle in England. It is large, with lots of areas to explore - towers, gardens, walkways, dungeons, a river... the list goes on. There is an extensive and fascinating range of exhibits that are interesting for adults and fun for children. The castle is really brought to life with models and mannequins. There's a special area where children can dress up and play at being a soldier, lady or peasant. There are also medieval games and sports to try. Visiting Warwick Castle can be expensive, but it is worth it for a fab day out, especially in the summer.

My top tips: Go on a sunny day, and spend some time in the beautiful gardens, or down by the river. Kids and adults alike have a go at the castle games and try on some medieval hats!
